Writing is not necessarily something to be ashamed of,
but do it in private and wash your hands afterwards.
– RA Heinlein

I write. A lot. Mostly for myself, a little for you. And every few months I do something I think my grandmother might like to see, which is when and why I’ll throw up some sightly pictures and a few words.

As far as backgrounds go, I’m nothing special, just your average kid that grew up in Portland, school in Missouri, got deployed to Texas, a year’s paid vacation in Iraq, then found himself double-fisting sweet teas in the Deep South.

This site is a lot of things – a hobby, a diary, a photoset, an admitedly geeky-fun way for me to get my hands under the hood of the miracle that is this globally interconnected series of servers and computers.

Please, poke around a bit. Don’t be shy. Leave a comment if the urge stirs you. Hit me up on the facebook/google.

Here’s to steak when you’re hungry and whiskey when you’re dry, friend. Happy surfing.
